Questions, answered.
Know what a check tells you, what publication changes, and how to keep your product details up to date.
What does a StoreKnows check show?
It tests product questions using simulated AI shoppers. You can review the answers, the recorded reference used to assess each one, and the product details available to a proposed fix. Model and evaluator settings are saved with the run.
A recorded reference is part of the test, not an independently verified source citation. Check the supporting product details when an answer or grade looks uncertain. These results do not predict sales or guarantee that a consumer assistant will give the same answer.
Does it work with every AI assistant?
Compatible shopping agents and browsers that can use website tools. Availability varies by client and account. Our simulated checks use model APIs; they do not establish support in consumer assistant apps.
StoreKnows does not add a chat widget or promise placement in AI search results. It supplies read-only product tools on supported theme-based Shopify stores.
Does it use live inventory?
No. Tools use a saved catalog copy. Prices and availability may change after capture; the current product page and checkout remain authoritative. Review the capture date before relying on changing details.
You can refresh catalog data separately from an AI check. Refreshing does not use an included AI check or silently replace the public version. Review the updated selection and approve publication when it is ready.
What becomes public when I enable a fix?
Publication makes the selected product data and referenced charts publicly accessible, including to people outside your store. A storefront password does not protect published tool data. Review the data preview before approving it, and keep private information out of the selection.
The tools are read-only: they do not rewrite products, change stock, buy items or edit orders. You activate the app embed in your theme and can switch it off. Uninstalling revokes StoreKnows access to the public bundle; it cannot recall copies already accessed by third parties.
What does the storefront availability check prove?
It visits your storefront and checks whether the expected tools can be found. The setup screen shows the latest result and its timestamp. Daily storefront availability checks are enabled when the service is active for published tools.
This is separate from testing answer quality. It does not run a daily AI comparison, refresh catalog facts or record shopper conversations.
What is included, and what does it cost?
Check is free. It includes one completed baseline check per store, answers by tested model, product sources and gaps to review, and the ability to try applicable proposed fixes with your own question.
Enable is USD $79 once per store. It includes all applicable supported fixes, publication, guided theme activation and verification, one initial after-check, and 2 additional manual AI checks.
A check is one multi-assistant run. Failed or partial platform runs release the allowance. There is no subscription, automatic overage, per-order fee or per-tool-call charge. If your allowance is used, tools stay enabled and catalog refresh remains available while the app and supported services are operational.
What if there is no useful fix, or an answer still needs work?
You can review the check and data guide without purchasing Enable. Existing tools may already answer well, or more product data may be needed before a useful fix is possible.
Review the answer and its reference. A miss may come from missing product data, the proposed tool, assistant behaviour or uncertainty in grading. Results can vary between runs; publication does not guarantee a correct answer.
